Greentube has officially entered the Alberta igaming sector after receiving registration from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission. The launch coincides with the province’s recent regulatory transition.
Regulatory Approval and Market Entry
As the digital gaming division of NOVOMATIC, Greentube secured its operational license shortly after the framework change. The registration enables the provider to distribute its portfolio of casino games and digital entertainment solutions across the newly opened provincial market.
The expansion follows the dismantling of the monopoly structure that controlled gaming operations in the region. According to the company’s press release, the Alberta debut marks a direct expansion step in broadening Greentube’s North American footprint.
